Process:

Site Preparation: We began by inspecting and preparing the existing concrete foundation, ensuring it was structurally sound and level. Any imperfections were addressed to provide a stable surface for tiling. 

Setting Out: The patio design was carefully measured and marked to ensure accurate lines and a balanced layout. Particular attention was given to the alignment with the home’s sliding doors, so the patio flows seamlessly into the interior living space.

Porcelain Tile Installation: Premium, light grey porcelain tiles were chosen for their durability, contemporary finish, and non-slip surface. Each tile was laid with precision using a weatherproof outdoor adhesive. The chosen colour not only brightens the space but also complements the mix of brick and natural stone on the property’s exterior walls.

Detailing & Edging: To achieve a crisp and professional finish, careful cuts were made around the perimeter and against the walls. This ensured the patio maintained consistent grout lines and symmetry throughout.

Grouting & Sealing: Once laid, the tiles were grouted with a high-performance, weather-resistant grout designed to withstand the elements. The surface was then cleaned and sealed, highlighting the natural tones of the porcelain while ensuring long-term protection against stains and weathering.
